Yes. Deecho is designed to be transparent. We recommend — and provide — in-store signage near the entrance and POS station to notify both employees and customers. We position Deecho as a coaching tool, not a surveillance tool, and that framing matters for employee trust and adoption.
Yes. Deecho provides in-store notification signage designed to be placed at the entrance and near the POS station, so customers are informed before they place their order. Only audio from the cashier interaction area is captured — no video, no tracking, and no personal data is stored beyond the interaction itself.
Deecho processes audio in near real-time, with coaching alerts available intra-shift. Managers receive an end-of-shift summary with next-best coaching actions ready before the next team arrives — not days later.
Raw audio is retained for 30 days, after which it is automatically deleted. Structured insights, scorecards, and coaching data are retained beyond that window so you always have historical performance context.
No data is lost. Deecho buffers audio locally on the device when internet is unavailable and automatically retries the upload once connectivity is restored.
